What is a digital nomad?

Digital nomad. Extreme telecommuter. Working remotely. Location independent. Different phrases to express the same concept: telecommuting, from anywhere. Sounds great, but as I continuously have to explain to people, I am not on vacation. I work the regular 8+ hours a day, 5 days a week, with meetings and conference calls. Vacation? No. Amazing? Absolutely.
